We had a really great Christmas this year! The girls got what they wanted from Santa (what a great guy ;) ) and Steve and I were just excited to see their faces when they woke up. Every year it gets more and more fun as the girls get older. This year at Hailey's school, they held a Christmas shop where the kids could come and shop for their family , everything in there was a dollar. Hailey bought us some really cute stuff!! She did really well at keeping it a secret also. She got me a door hanger with bells on it, and she got Steve a giant pencil... it's huge! She even wrapped the presents herself. In the morning we went to my moms for breakfast and she made my very favorite bran muffins ever. Then we went to my dads and opened presents there, the girls made a haul! I have to say that it always feels good to get the holidays over with, it's fun but a lot of work.

3 Weeks Later
It's been nearly three weeks since Anna was born and I have to say that I think I have the worlds best baby! She is doing so well, everyday I think she becomes more aware of her surroundings and is awake more during the day. She sleeps better than any of the other kids did (HOORAY). It's so much fun having a baby around the house again!
Avoid the spinning rides!!
Last Saturday Steve took the girls out to Jungle Jims for some daddy daughter bonding. They had lots of fun, but were only gone for about an hour... Katie puked all over the spinning tea cup ride! He had to strip her down to her panties in the parking lot before putting her in the truck. She thought it was really funny.

New Baby
Hey everyone, like Steve said, Anna was born on Friday morning and is the cutest little thing ever! We finally got to come home today and I absolutely couldn't wait. Hailey was having such a hard time with me being gone for so many days, she will be so excited to see that I'm home when she comes home from school. Thanks to everyone, especially my mom who helped out so much with the girls so Steve could spend as much time at the hospital with me as possible. Here are some pictures of our awesome day.

Happy Birthday Anna Danielle
Hi All. First off this is Steve and I don't know how to do all the cutsie stuff on here I just thought I would drop a thingy about our little cutie pie. Anna was born Friday at 8:11 am and she weighed 8lbs 7oz and is 22.25 inches long. She is so friggin cute, she looks alot like Hailey when she was born. Becky is doing awesome she was up walking around alot yesterday (and paid for it last night, but thank the almighty for percoset). Anna so far is waking up about every 3-4 hrs to eat so it could be worse. We want everyone to know how grateful we are for all the support and for the help we've received with Hailey and Katie. We sure love you all. We'll be home soon so Becky can show me how to put photos up on here, sorry I'm blogspot illiterate. Take care and Thanks again!

Wish me luck :)
So the day has finally come... in about 12 hours we'll be at the hospital to welcome our new baby girl into the world. I've been really emotional today just thinking about the new little soul I get to finally meet, I couldn't be more excited! I feel so lucky to have the wonderful husband and beautiful girls that I have, I just couldn't ask for more. ( Not to mention the best friends in the whole world) thanks everyone for putting up with my mood swings and my whining, I know I've been a little tough to handle lately, so thanks!

No Baby Yet...
Next Friday just can't come soon enough!! Every night I say " I hope tonight's the night", but of course it doesn't happen. I think I'm driving myself crazy because I have to make sure that the house is perfectly spotless and that all of the laundry is done and put away just in case, it's not easy to keep a spotless house with two little kids running around. It's a good thing that I'm addicted to Comet (the bleach cleaner) I absolutely crave the smell of it, so I clean everything like a mad woman just so i can smell that yummy bleachy smell :) Anyway, I'll keep everyone posted.... maybe tonight's the night ;)
Otherwise, we'll be at the hospital bright and early next friday morning for surgery. I can't wait to show everyone pictures!

Our New Ride!!!
So after fumbling around with three carseats (and using a few choice words) trying to make them fit in the back seat of my car, we decided that it was time to invest in something a little more family friendly. We looked at a whole bunch of options, yes even mini vans, but we feel like we found something that would fit us perfect! I absolutely love the third row seating, I'm so excited!

First Class Party
Today was Hailey's very first school party. She had been so excited for today! We started with the parade around the school in their costumes, and then we went back to the classroom for the party. I was pretty nervous because I found out last week that I would be in charge of the cookie decorating table. It was actually really fun, I think we had the best table there and for sure the messiest! Hailey was super surprised when dad came to visit decked out in his gear as his costume, it was so cute. And a huge thanks to my mom for coming to help me out, I sure needed it!

A Visit From the Great Pumpkin!
Every year during the week of Halloween, the Great Pumpkin comes during the night and leaves a bag of goodies for the kids. Hailey gets so excited that she actually wakes up early to check outside but I make her wait for her sister (I'm so mean). The best part is watching Hailey draw pictures and write little notes that say " I love you pumpkin"! It's so cute!!

Halloween Party
Last night we went to our awesome and wonderful friends Carlye and Cameron's house for a totally fun Halloween party for the kids. They got all dressed up in their costumes, Hailey the kitty, and Katie the butterfly. Carlye is so amazing, she had tons of food, games and treats for the kids. Thanks so much Carlye for the fun night!!

The Dentist
Today was Katie's first time at the dentist. She was so excited to go but had no idea what was in store for her. She was a little nervous at first, but they turned on Nemo and told her that the toothpaste was purple, then she was good to go. I was so proud of Hailey, she went through the whole visit all by herself while I was with Katie. My girls are so brave!

We love Halloween!
So it's almost October so we decided it was close enough to put up our decorations. Steve LOVES to decorate the outside of the house, he gets really into it. I think this took him about 4 hours to put up. Katie is not so sure she likes the decorations, especially the spooky stuff, she won't play in the yard without Hailey there to protect her. Pretty funny.

Hailey's first day of Kindergarten!
Today was Hailey's first day of Kindergarten, she was so excited she woke up this morning at 6:30! We picked out a very cute outfit and made pancakes for breakfast, not to mention the hair had to be perfect. She asked me if she could walk all by herself to school, I thought that was so funny! As soon as we got there, she made some quick friends and was off to the playground. As soon as the bell rang she knew right where to go, hung up her backback and found her desk. I cannot believe that my baby is going to be at school all day long! She's so grown up! Katie already misses her, but I think she'll get over that pretty quick.

Flaming Gorge
We went to Flaming Gorge over the weekend with some of my family, this was the first time we'd been there and it was absolutely gorgeous! It was quite the drive to the top of the Uintah mountains but once we got there, it was totally worth it. We pretty much spent our days on the boat and our nights around the fire. The kids had so much fun hunting for rocks to take back home to Nana. Katie fell more times than I thought possible, her knees are completely scabbed over. We swam a ton and Steve spent a lot of time on the wake board again. He's actually getting pretty good! This was a good trip to end the summer with, I can't wait until next summer!
