First Class Party

Today was Hailey's very first school party. She had been so excited for today! We started with the parade around the school in their costumes, and then we went back to the classroom for the party. I was pretty nervous because I found out last week that I would be in charge of the cookie decorating table. It was actually really fun, I think we had the best table there and for sure the messiest! Hailey was super surprised when dad came to visit decked out in his gear as his costume, it was so cute. And a huge thanks to my mom for coming to help me out, I sure needed it!

A Visit From the Great Pumpkin!

Every year during the week of Halloween, the Great Pumpkin comes during the night and leaves a bag of goodies for the kids. Hailey gets so excited that she actually wakes up early to check outside but I make her wait for her sister (I'm so mean). The best part is watching Hailey draw pictures and write little notes that say " I love you pumpkin"! It's so cute!!

Pumpkin Carving

Today we carved our pumpkins. The girls were so excited, they've been waiting weeks for this day! Hailey just dove right into the guts of the pumpkin, but Katie thought it was gross and would only touch it with the tip of her finger. We had a lot of fun!

Halloween Party

Last night we went to our awesome and wonderful friends Carlye and Cameron's house for a totally fun Halloween party for the kids. They got all dressed up in their costumes, Hailey the kitty, and Katie the butterfly. Carlye is so amazing, she had tons of food, games and treats for the kids. Thanks so much Carlye for the fun night!!

The Dentist

Today was Katie's first time at the dentist. She was so excited to go but had no idea what was in store for her. She was a little nervous at first, but they turned on Nemo and told her that the toothpaste was purple, then she was good to go. I was so proud of Hailey, she went through the whole visit all by herself while I was with Katie. My girls are so brave!
