A Visit from the Tooth Fairy

It's hard to believe that my baby is old enough to lose a tooth! She was so excited to have the tooth fairy come... apparently the tooth fairy doesn't know the going rate for a tooth these days. Hailey got five dollars, and we're being told that Hailey is pretty lucky to have the tooth fairy that she does :)

2 Months Old

It's hard to believe that two months have already passed, it's crazy! She is getting so big. We had her doctor appt last week and she weighed 11 lbs 12 oz and was 23 1/2 in long. She is becoming so interested in her surroundings, she loves to smile. My favorite thing is when she first wakes up in the morning and has the biggest smiles on her face... it's ADORABLE! She is doing really well in the sleep department, The past week or so she's been going to bed about 8:30 and not waking up to eat until about 4:00, I feel normal again, somewhat.

Happy New Year!

I can't believe another year has come and gone. It was such a good year, looking back we had a lot of things happen in 2008. Last January I had a miscarriage which was really difficult for me to deal with, but thanks to family and good friends we got through it. Then in February we got to take our first trip to Hawaii!! We went for my moms 50th birthday, we got to rent out a gorgeous house that was literally on the beach. We could walk out the back door and step into the sand. Then in March we were blessed to find out that we were pregnant with Anna. I was sooooo excited! Then in March Steve started the testing process with Murray City Fire Dept, which is where he's wanted to work since he was a kid. We found out in April that they wanted to hire him, it was the best day... I cried on the phone when he called to tell me the good news. It was a scary decision to make since they didn't pay near what he was making at Brink's, but in the end we decided that his happiness was more important than money... and I'm so happy now that we did it. Oh, and I can't leave out that in June Katie figured out the potty thing, I was rid of diapers finally... 'til Anna. Then in the fall, my little Hailey started kindergarten. It's so fun to see her growing up. Then... little Anna was born. What a great way to round out the year!! I am so thankful for the life I have and the people in my life. I can't wait to see what 2009 holds for us. Happy New Year Everyone!
