Steve's crew

This is a picture of Steve's new family. Sometimes I think he see's them more than he see's us, but they treat him pretty good so I guess it's ok. Notice how tall Steve is... hehe

Steve and the girls

Riding the four wheeler around the neighborhood is one of the girls favorite things to do with their dad. It's pretty cute! Steve let Hailey drive a little on her own, she had a blast!

Steve's hog

This is a picture of the hog that Steve rides to work now and then, I was lucky enough to snag a picture of him and his brother Jeff both on it. Boy that poor scooter had to work hard to get those guys around the block!

The Bee's Game

Last night we got to go to the Bee's game with Nana. We rode Trax down and the girls thought that was pretty cool. It was really hot but we made sure to keep cool with lots of treats and snow cones! After the game we got to see some really fun fireworks, I don't think Katie had seen anything so cool in her life from the look on her face.

Trip to the Lake

Every summer we spend a ton of time at the lake with my dad on his boat. Last weekend we went to our usual spot at Rockport and spent the morning playing in the water and watching Steve learn how to wake board. The kids have a blast riding in the boat and swiming in the freezing cold water. I think I only dipped my rear end in the water to potty, it was just too cold for me!

The 24th of July

This year for the 24th of July we went to Jamies place where she has a big pavillion that she rented out for the occasion. The kids had so much fun playing together, I don't think I saw Hailey the whole time unless she needed a drink or a trip to the potty. Katie's highlight of the night was the little roller coaster and of course, the fireworks! We had a ton of fun with our friends, hopefully we'll do this again next year.

Steve's new gig!

So after years and years of trying to get a full time position with a fire department, Steve was hired on in our own wonderful city, Murray. It's been one of the best things that's happened to our family, Steve is so happy with his new life that it makes the rest of us just as happy. We were lucky enough to attend the dedication of the new fire house where Steve will be stationed. It was a pretty cool experience. The girls had a blast climbing on the fire trucks and eating the free cookies!
